Each Water Allocation conveyance is different. It may require a relocation of a water allocation from one zone to another and/or an application for a River Supply Contract. Unlike property conveyances, it’s a complicated process that takes significant dealings with both the Department of Resources and the ROL holder, Sunwater or SEQ Water.
Queensland’s land access laws establish differing requirements depending on the impact of the authorised activities conducted under the resource authority. The Queensland Government strongly advises you to seek independent legal advice in relation to land access.
If you are transferring property that includes a water entitlement and you need a valuation for Stamp Duty purposes, or require a water valuation to determine your waters worth, we are able to give an indicative value based on our database of recent sales. We have experienced property valuers with extensive water valuation knowledge enabling QWC to deliver a wholistic approach to with our valuation services.
